Zenon Texeira

A love of nostalgic family photos has inspired me to take and more importantly value photographs. My father allowed me to use his Olympus Pen half-frame camera in my teens and I took it almost everywhere with me, school, the skating rink, parties, the library... the list goes on. There was immediate gratification from those images but it was nothing compared to the reaction I got when I posted those very same pics on Facebook 25 years later for friends to share. When I was 14 the idea that one day I would be a photographer would have meant a dream come true. Today I am lucky to work with wonderful people from all walks of life in various locations and it's my privilege to take their photograph.
